COMMISSION A PAINTING FROM ME:

Commissioning a painting is the perfect way to be involved in the creation process of a unique painting that is exactly right for you and your space. If you have a particular size, style, and/or color palette you want, this is a good way to realize your vision. I take on a limited number of commissions per quarter, first come first serve.

The process begins with a discussion of what you are looking for in terms of style, palette, and canvas size. Once a size has been selected and the details agreed upon, I’ll send over a contract outlining those details, the completion date, the price and the deposit to be collected. The signed contract will need to be retuned with the 50% deposit, by mail or digitally, before the commission can begin. Once a painting is started the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

Before I start, you will receive a small approximation mock up to approve and then several rounds of progress photos while I work on your piece, giving you the opportunity to review the progress, ask questions or provide feedback. You can ‘edit’ the painting up to 3 times, but make as many small adjustments as you’d like until you feel it is perfect for you. Once finished, The remaining balance will be collected and it will be safely shipped to you with tracking information provided. If you are local to the Santa Cruz/ San Francisco Bay Area, you can also arrange a pick up/drop off instead of shipping.
